I recently blew the dust off the forum and I wondered how long it would take someone to notice! I had to upgrade the forum software or risk it becoming so out of date it would be dead forever. Given it was 3 years old the upgrade was easy. Full marks to the phpBB team for their excellent upgrade tool.

I'm currently fixing broken links/images because I reorganised my file structure. I am considering re-enabling the forum and opening up the site again but it's just a case of finding the time.

I've also removed/altered the odd article which caused all the fuss in the first place.

I do stalk you guys occasionally to see what projects you are working on! Obviously Ornsack's YouTube channel is on my list ...

Come on, I'm sure it's just a couple of buttons you'd need to press to get it back online in some state I've even had people message my YouTube account asking where the site's gone (happened about 4 times over the last three years, which isn't alot, but it's enough).

Dangerous Derk joined the Matt Hawkins site in the sky. Too many people are growing up and out of it. As I head towards my 30's (no really) and start to settle down I need to know others out there in similar positions aren't giving up the film making too

Come on, sort it out. Even if you just open up the website as a forum with the tutorials on it (ala HV20.com ) which you could put up at your own pace.

I'll never give up my film making, i have a son now & fully intend passing all my knowledge on to him.

It's just hard being a musician as well as film maker & parent. I'm lucky though that this is my job, even though it doesn't pay much, i get to do this stuff all the time.
