 I'm back (again) lol
Hey guys,
I've been absent from the film making scene for a few months now, mainly because my new HV30 camera's firewire port died and i sold the camera and also because i wanted to concentrate on my music production.
However, I'm about to buy a new camera in a month or so's time and i've also started a new site which I'll post in the links section.
The camera i'm getting is the Pentax K-X - it's a stills camera with a 720P 24fps video mode with exposure lock (many don't) It takes Pentax prime lenses which are pretty cheap and is supposed to be pretty nice in low light.
Downside is there's only an on-board mono mic and no socket to add extra mics so i'll have to use something like a minidisc recorder to record decent sound.
Here's some videos shot with it:

Welcome back! Please stay.
Looking forward to seeing what you do with it. Seems like shooting on digital SLR's will soon be the way forward

It's CMOS But it has a rather good image stabilisation unit that apparently reduces jello effects. I'll be using mine mostly on a tripod anyways.
